065Troops (??? )
 The Crackdown
In years around 1996 local Gangster Disciples affiliated ruled the area controlling most if not all drug trade second to nun in the area. That is until the crackdown of 1996 splitting most of the Gangster Disciples' up into sets of people who didn't care about the original vision of the operation which is something along the lines of getting money from drug dealing and sticking together as a group.

 Confirming the identity of 065Troops
The Troops were first introduced to the 65th area in 2014 after seeing the movement of other neighboring GD sets with this being said they still partake in renegade gang banging against several other GD groups. Most of the original members are locked up currently or dead. They used to just go by 065 before a rebrand in 2020 where their only rapper "Troopa"(Tyrell Jenkins)  gained popularity from a music video in 2020 before shortly passing later that year in February due to gun shot wounds on 79th.

After this event the area really got hot and younger people from the hood started stepping up to the plate getting active which leads us to Treyvon Banks and his brother Tyreek Banks both related to troopa being his cousin they mainly made the movement together and with help from friends to immortalize their close cousin who died when the twin brothers were just 12 years old. They are even seen in music videos with troop before his death on 65th street, and till this day they represent him and 065Troops on social media. This would lead the twins into rage, this enabled them to start doing things for the set that would make Troopa proud. They would start slanging dope aka weed at the age of 13, gaining respect from the other members in their hood seeing they knew what they were doing. They started getting more and more work to sell, almost the entire set trusted them with getting the job done. They would end up getting good connections with other hoods across Chicago seeing that these kids were serious and they knew what they were doing. But one night they went to go hit a sell over east of Chicago out of bounds when out of nowhere 3 masked men towering over them came out of nowhere with guns making them vulnerable and forced to their Drugs up that they needed to return to the hood with by all costs. This would result in the twins and 2 other homies from the Troops to spin killing one member named "lilScar". The twins and the 1 other person we're still alive and well and they were able to critically injure the people they targeted. This would make them become more respected getting high rank inside the gang. the gang slowly started falling and the twins noticed this and started taking control and that's how we got 065TROOPS.

Spank, Tavi and King we're closer than all the other notable members and were always close to each other as they roamed the streets but tragedy would sadly strike them again on 2024 December 5th a fairly recent date for all the members involved and 2025 January 15th. On December 5th spank dies in a robbery gone wrong with mysterious circumstances. Then later in January Tavi dies to CPD after being caught with a large sum of drugs he gained from various block activities, He decided he would rather run away instead of take the charge on the scene he reached for his iPhone the police opened fire on him leaving him dead on 64th Street in the ally next to baba's.

The cost?
After the death of troop, Tavi and spank the entire neighborhood and group as a whole was left shook and with deadly acts comes irrational responses. Most people related felt that pain after he was lost and also felt they could easily go out the same way if they didn't move correct, and this resulting in the banding together of a lot of people later down the line who weren't even close with the dead members causing backdoor's gaining the area a History of being slimey towards anyone they deemed an outsider at most times direct orders from older homies from behind bars to reek havoc for their dead friends. The group changed everyone started keeping a gun everywhere they went in terror of death that some would call cowardness.

Current Day
 Nowadays, the group is full of people aging from 14-25 but mainly youngins known as "YN's / Young Niggas". They now focus on social beefs, making money, and doing anything to thrive in the hood. Making money their biggest objective in Chicago doing things like making music, making and selling drugs, and doing hits for their guys. They do this in Honor of "Troopa" reason being he was one of the best rappers from their set and put on for 065 anytime he could.
